Jessica Gillette, DVM
Dr. Jessica Gillette was born and raised in beautiful Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. She completed her undergraduate work in biochemistry and integrative biology at UC Berkeley. After two years of working full-time as an Internal Medicine Veterinary Technician, she went on to obtain her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2015 from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. In Davis, she was active in clubs focused on trap-neuter-release, orphaned kitten fostering, and emergency preparedness.
Following graduation, she made a big move to Texas to intern at the Center for Veterinary Specialty+ Emergency Care with a focus in Emergency and Critical Care medicine. Since June 2016, she has remained on staff as an associate ER Doctor.
A prior athlete, Jessica has completed 4 Tough Mudders and enjoys any outdoor activity, such as running, hiking, biking, and scuba diving. Her personal hobbies include salsa dancing, planting, bowling, cooking and watching movies.
