Erin Black, DVM
Dr. Black was born in Oklahoma City but grew up in Plano/Frisco area of Texas. She received her undergraduate degree of Biomedical science in Fall 2012 and received her DVM degree from Texas A&M University in 2017. During veterinary medicine school, Dr. Black was a small animal emergency room technician at The Small Animal Teaching Hospital at TAMU, which is where her love for ER medicine was founded. She went on to do a small animal rotating internship at Veterinary Referral Associates in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
She joined the team at CVSEC in July 2018. She enjoys the challenges of emergency medicine and getting to help Patients and Clients in their time of need. She enjoys Surgery and Internal Medicine.
When not at work, Dr. Black can be found working out, painting, cooking or hanging with family and friends. She also enjoys spending time with her fur baby, Leeloo Dallas (black lab mix)
